If your bathroom feels dull and dingy, you don’t have to plan a complete remodel to freshen up the space. Before spending your precious time and money replacing tile, painting walls, or replacing the shower, try spending a few minutes organizing the space. Clear the clutter by placing everything on the counters and in the drawers into two good sized boxes. Sort through the items and toss out any toiletry or cleaning product that is out of date.
After you’ve sorted through the items, starting with the medicine cabinet, begin replacing items. Only put back those items you can’t live without. The counter should only contain those items you use daily. For any item that is essential but not needed every day, place these in a drawer. For the cleaning supplies that need to be kept close, place these on one side of the cupboard; the other side can be used for extra bathroom ideas. Once everything is in its’ proper place, step back, admire your work, and start enjoying your “new” bathroom.
