As you know, I always appreciate when a kitchen space is also seamlessly conjoined with a living room. Personally, I feel that this both expands the space, while at the same time when nit is done well it keeps each space distinct. In other words, even though they are both attached the way they are, they are clearly two separate rooms. This makes it so that you and your family, or if you are having a dinner party, your friends, can move around the space freely and openly. In order for this to work really well, though, at the end of the day you need to have an optimized kitchen.
