As you know, I am often dubious about the use of yellow in a kitchen color scheme. I feel that too often is dominates everything to the point of creating a glare in the kitchen, But occasionally, I come across a design like this that is able to use yellow in smart ways. The key to making sure that you do not produce a color glare is to dull the bright colors with things like brown. Also, they have kept the yellow a darker shade so that it works well with the wood paneling and creates a more golden hue. This is actually a pretty earthy texture.
