This is a very private courtyard that would be perfect for sitting out in the evening alone with your partner. I over the little bench next to the door, and actually find it to be the highlight of the space. The arched doorway is very cool because it actually helps elongate the space a little bit by making it feel bigger. Now, this light seems strange given the fact that we are looking at an outdoor space, but these subtle visual elements can make your yard feel much bigger. At then of the day, this is a romantic and cozy courtyard space.

This is another simple backyard landscape design that is really nice for a couple of reasons. The dappled sunlight lets us know that the trees are doing their part to make this yard so comfortable. ON those hot summer days it is nice to have some shade, and if you are able to do this with the trees on your property as opposed to umbrellas, then not only does your yard look nicer because of the array of trees, but it is also functional. A both/and mindset is always god when approaching your landscape idea. The patio and furniture also look comfortable.

If you are designing your yard with the family in mind, then something like a playhouse or even a tree house are great additions. Not only are they fun for the kids, but they also round out your backyard landscape in a big way. Suddenly, with the addition of these elements your yard becomes more than it was. It is more functional. Now, if you do not have a family you can still design your backyard landscape to have social functionality to it. You could consider an outdoor kitchen or a covered patio with a big table for larger dinner parties. Either way, it all looks and feels great.

Here we have a great patio for dinner parties with your friends and family. In addition to this great table and chairs setup it looks like there is enough room for another table if you were doing a larger party. In fact, if you have folding tables and chairs you could even expand the party into the yard. The covering is great for when you want to eat outdoors during the rain. In addition to the patio and furniture, though, this yard is very well done. The grass looks perfect, and the trees and bushes around the fence add a lot to the aesthetic.

This is a great space because it gives you a couple of options of what you would want to do in this space. For example, I could see everyone reclining after a big meal and visiting over glasses of wine as they all sat in the comfortable furniture in this room. After a while they might decide to watch one of their favorite movies on the movies screen, or they may venture out onto the large property. You could also plan a movie night with just your partner, or with friends and family. It is nice to have a space nit bee too narrow.

What I like about this space is the fact that rather than being a traditional theater layout, or even having any of those elements at all, this is instead a mega deluxe living room with a great entertainment center. For many people this is a more preferable setup because you can have more versatility in a space like this. Rather than being only for movies and such, this is also a very comfortable space to sit and visit with friends after a big meal. I love the wrap around couch because it gives everyone one big piece of furniture to share, which accentuates the intimacy of the room.

This is really creative space that utilizes an Indian motif with great effect. The range of colors is really great, and the furniture is of the highest quality. Not only is this a great room for sitting at tea with friends, but it is also a very relaxing space. It shows that you can have a lot of vibrant colors that are balanced out with the right hues to make the room comfortable and easy on the eyes as opposed to being over the top and dizzying. The high ceiling really does the room a lot of good, and the mirrors are great as well.

This is a lovely patio with a very nice water fountain that is surrounded by an awesome garden of plants, bushes and trees. I really like the hanging plant to the side of the fountain, and the leaves that have grown out of the pot and are hanging below it really adds a lush sense to the design. I might add a couple of bits of patio furniture in this area just because it would seem like sitting out next to this fountain could be really relaxing for you and your partner or friends when enjoying some wine and dessert in the evening.

This backyard features a view form the perfectly manicured lawn and it succeeds at still feeling like a nice country setting. This has in part to do with the overall design of the house, but also because of the way that they structured the patio. For example, the patio furniture and foliage is very nice. I like the bushes and flowers that have been placed around it. The summer furniture and table is nice because it represents a nice spot to sit with friends over drinks when the summer is on. This back patio could also be great for outdoor dinner parties with family and friends.

As I have said before, one of the things that can really make your landscape design is when you have an awesome country view like this one. The reason is because you do not need to design as much because the surrounding landscape stands out so strongly. In fact, what I like to see when you have these sorts of vies is a backyard that has some simple furniture and maybe a large umbrella for sitting out with your friends with wine and admiring the countryside. I would love to visit this property because I imagine that it is very relaxing to look out on these hills.
