Normally, I am wary of the use of yellow in a kitchen. I feel like it can give the place an overwhelming glow that is not at all flattering. This design, however, uses it wonderfully. I think what helps is the fact that they have used the white with black trim, and that they have also used brown very well. This offsets the yellow of the oven and the walls, and gives everything an adorable, cozy feel. In fact, the first thing I think of when I look at this image is the pleasant smell of baking bread or pie. I really like this kitchen, and wish I could see the whole house.
